Reinstatement of an Iconic Heritage Building.

A fire broke out in an iconic heritage building in the heart of Penrith. Once the fire brigade released the site, Rizon was contacted to secure the building. The site was made safe with the further isolation of services and then the partial demolition of the structure at risk of collapse. Rizon then took to the planning and design work proposal in order to obtain construction consent in accordance with NSW legislation for heritage-listed buildings. As result of considering all options for repair and restoration, Rizon was able to successfully restore the building in a way to maintain the heritage significance within budget.
